Come As You Are

God created us in his image. We are perfectly made and God himself was pleased with His creation of us. Every single person has a desire to have a relationship with their creator, which is possible through His son Jesus Christ our savior. Why would people run from this relationship that is so full of love?

For many people it is the guilt of past mistakes and sins that are holding them down. They feel unworthy to receive the grace of our God that they run the completely opposite direction of it. People who live like this are like eagles full of beauty who can't seem to soar or a lion full of power who forgot how to roar. God created us to be his children and live in peace with each other. We must realize that our past sins were forever forgotten by the blood of Jesus. He paid the ultimate sacrifice so we could live in freedom from the guilt and shame of sin! God loves his creations, so why would he reject us after we have been cleansed by His son? The Fathers arms are always open wide. He is offering and begging for us to accept this gift. All we have to do is run to His arms! The arms of the creator who will strengthen us so that we can soar as the beautiful creations we are. Without guilt and shame we realize our worth to God so that we can testify to other people how great the forgiveness of our savior is. So I urge you to forget your past sins after you have confessed them to God because they are gone after that! Stop living in a prison of sin that holds you down from truly having a relationship with God and His son. Set yourself free so that you can run wild for God set ablaze by His love.
