A Message to Christians

Upon Jesus our sins were laid. Even the sins of the people who reject and defy Him. The suffering He went through on the cross is unimaginable. Whipped, beaten, and mocked He carried the cross with the weight of every single sin upon it. How strong my savior must have been to do such a thing! What human can fully comprehend the amount of love Jesus had and still has for people who are so unworthy? We deserve death but through God's mercy and Jesus' sacrifice, we are made alive! Now if His love for us is that great then why do we run to worldly idols for comfort? We must

all realize that God's love for us is sufficient! It is greater and more powerful than anything this world can offer. I don't know about you, but knowing that God's love is unfailing and so deep and rich is enough comfort for me because I know God will NEVER let me down if I trust in Him. Praise God for having mercy and giving us His love. Along with comfort, be confident in the fact that God is on your side. The name of Jesus itself is powerful enough to destroy anything of this world. All through the Bible the power of God is displayed. His wrath is undeniably the scariest thing any man can imagine. Nahum 1:2 says that God is a jealous and avenging God. He destroys cities and even flooded the earth at one point because the people had turned their backs from Him. That is still the same God we serve today, so the fear of the Lord should definitely exist, but at the same time, we should trust and be confident because of the power OUR king has. He is on our side, He loves us, shows mercy towards us, and will never let us down. How amazing is the Lord almighty to give us so much when we have done so much wrong? We must give all the glory to God and never boast in ourselves because it is Jesus that gave us life and it is God that gave us Jesus. So I urge you to worship God for the blessings He gives you and never take any credit for the great works that God does through you as a christian.
